Cub Scouts is for boys and girls aged between 8 and 10 years. 1st Canterbury has 2 Cub Scout Units that meet Tuesday night at 7 PM - 8.30 PM. As well as meeting once a week they join in some super cool weekend activities.
There are fun camps for Cub Scouts which could have interesting themes like ‘Space Odyssey’ or ‘Pirates on the High Seas’. Those who achieve their ‘Camp Out’ badge can join a 5-day ‘Cuboree’ with hundreds of other excited Cub Scouts at Gilwell Park, near Gembrook.
Many of our 1st Canterbury Cub Scouts have earned the highest achievement of the section, the Grey Wolf Award

Cub Scouts meet Tuesday between 7 and 8.30 pm
at the 1st Canterbury Scout Hall. We have two Cub Units - Wonargo and Quinbalup
They wear the Cub Scout uniform shirt, the 1st Canterbury scarf and a woggle to hold their scarf together.
Our Cub Scouts also complete activities together playing fantastic games like scavenger hunts or building a catapult together.
They can also earn a range of badges for bushcraft, cooking, canoeing and many other skills.
