We recently celebrated a significant milestone - 100 years of Scouting at 'The Gunyah', home to the 1st Canterbury Scout Group. To mark this momentous occasion, we organised an unforgettable day filled with fun and festivities, on Saturday, 1st June, 2024
Highlights of the day included:
Exciting Activities: Get ready for adventure with activities such as rock climbing wall, abseiling, flying fox, and more!
Delicious Eats: Indulge in mouthwatering treats from our BBQ and cake stall.
Live Music: A live performances by the talented Victorian Scout Band.
Official Formalities: The unveiling of the Grey Wolf Award Honour Roll, featuring special guest speakers including The Hon. Lord Baden-Powell, Boroondara Mayor Lisa Hollingsworth, and Dr. Monique Ryan MP, Member for Kooyong.
Commemorative Tree Planting: Following the formalities, special guests will participate in a tree planting ceremony to commemorate this milestone occasion.
Limited Edition Centenary Badge: All youth who complete three activities on the day will be awarded the limited edition Centenary Badge.
